Our wedding dress code is FUNKYYY formal! Step out in your best formal wear and bring in all the funk. We want lots of colors, sequins, patterns and textures. A little ruffle never hurt! For women, this means a long evening gown, but make it YOU and for men, a suit but make it YOU. If you need any ideas feel free to check out Pinterest or reach out to us we would love to assist. We want everyone to feel comfortable, confident. Shoes of your choice, women stilettos may not be your friend for this evening, feel free to come in shoes that will be easy to walk in the grass yet still match the theme. Thicker heels would be better. Men, same for you guys, shoes that are comfortable for walking on grass and matching the theme. We are so excited to see everyone pop out in their best funky formal wear! Please please check out Pinterest they have SO many wonderful ideas !
All cars please park on Metzler lane, once you park you will be able take a short walk down to the ceremony, there will be someone outside to guide you!
We would love to keep our wedding small and intimate with those closest to us. This event does not include a reception, it will be followed with fellowship and a family dinner, games and music for everyone to spend quality time together as well as with the bride and groom. Your partner is welcome and your children are more than welcome, we just please ask that your plus one is not a friend of yours and that you include any additional guest in your rsvp, we’re so excited to celebrate with you guys!

Jon and I have decided to have a micro backyard wedding sweet and short in the place I love most, my parents home. There will be a larger reception on a separate date and location and we will keep you guys updated on when that happens! Feel free to stay after the ceremony for some fellowship, games food and music! Jon and I would love to spend some time enjoying the backyard together.
Yes, please feel free to take as many photos as you like throughout our wedding celebration! If you could share any photos with us that would be great!
If you guys want to swim be sure to bring anything you need to do so! Children must have some sort of swimmies on and adult supervision at all times! lifeguards will not be present the safety of your kid is your responsibility if they do swim! The pool is a 4ft all around sports pool so it’s pretty safe toys and floats will be provided. Enjoy the pool, have lots of fun and please use swimming safety, we don’t want anyone getting hurt. Pool rules are simple, no diving (it’s not deep enough for that), no sharp object on your person or in the pool please. No swimming if there’s thunder and lightning. No eating or drinking inside the pool, but feel free to do so over the ledge, and lastly have fun!
The ceremony will start at 5pm. Please arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony to get settled.
Rain or shine, the celebration continues! Please bring umbrellas if rain is in the forecast.
