We first met at the 2018 kickball challenge hosted by the Cranston RI ecclesia. We then became friends and would often see each other at Bible study weekends like Barton in MA. In 2020, we saw each other again at a bonfire, here in Maryland, and that night was the start of our relationship. We did encounter a lot of rough times during the first two years, but we are extremely grateful for the strength that God gave us to keep on choosing each other.
Thanks to Alex, Micah and I were finally introduced to one of the most rewarding journeys anyone could desire. Alexander brought to us a new kind of love; one we could only dream of until we held him in our arms. Though parenthood can be tough at times, we know that God's timing is perfect, so we continue to count our blessings.
Micah and I got married in December 2021 in Hilton Head, South Carolina. It was a family trip that was originally planned to celebrate the groom's parents 40th wedding anniversary, but we took this opportunity to have everyone gathered to celebrate our wedding. Sadly, the bride's family couldn't join due to the distance.
Nothing exciting here but the fact that we got our marriage certificate.
Our sweet little Ember was finally born, and she was honestly the perfect addition to our little family. Her sweet demeanor is very grounding to us, and her energy keeps us active. If there's one thing Micah and I learned with the arrival of Ember, it's multi-tasking. It is a skill that you start getting better at with one kid but with two, you better master it!
As you probably noticed, for our first wedding we purposely chose to dress up a little more casually, and that's because we genuinely wanted to wait for this moment to be shared with you all. To be continued...
