Heather is Laynie’s longest best friend. They met in the fourth grade and have been attached at the hip ever since. From crimped hair and braces, to marriage and babies, they have supported each other through every stage in life (the good, the bad, and the 6th grade ugly).

Stephen and Jordan formally met in 9th grade and have been the closest friends ever since. From 12th grade theater class, to going to Disney (and subsequently becoming "Disney Adults"), all the way to a stint living together, and beyond. Jordan can always count on Stephen to be there for the ups and downs, to talk about the latest pop culture hot takes, or watch Beowulf if all else fails.

Julia and Laynie met outside of one of their freshman fashion classes and the rest is history! Trolling is their number one favorite hobby- any time, any place, any person. No one thinks they are as funny as they think they are, but they bring out the best in each other and they’re truly a modern day Thelma and Louise.
Kwame Govine

Kwame "Uncle Kwammers" Govine met Jordan at Fairmont State in 2008 and quickly became a brother. For the past 15 years they have gotten into all manner of mischief. Whether its bonding over sports, helping each other move or complete some other handy project, or finding some trendy new spot around the city, you can always count on Kwame to be by his side.

Brittany and Laynie also met in college (through Julia, actually!) and have become really close over the years. They bonded over their shared love of golden retrievers, traveling, and the crumble cookie flavors of the week! #weloveagoodtheme
Frank Yeboah

One fateful day at Best Buy, Frank walked into Jordan's life as they both sold phones in their mobile dept. TBH they don't get along and its weird he's on this list. Jordan is better than him at most things and Frank really soaks up that knowledge, it's the linchpin of their relationship. All jokes aside. Motivated and driven, Frank has always been there for Jordan. Despite life taking them in different directions their relationship has stayed close as they frequently ruminate about sports, argue about something, or play Overwatch together.

Valari, Val, My Pal Val- was Laynie’s first new friend when she moved to Charlotte. From the moment she met her, she knew she wanted to be her friend and they have been so close ever since. They bond over their love of concerts, sweets (mostly anything red velvet- cream cheese icing only!), and they love a good deal!

It's Elias! Jordan and Cameron met thru Kwame in college over a shared love for hip-hop. That friendship grew into a partnership creating music together, sharing a few stages, and recording exactly 1 music video that never saw the light of day. They've stayed close over the years and continue to share the same passions of music and comedy.
Danielle Cleghorn

Danielle and Laynie have technically known each other since their 2010 math class together, where Laynie always laughed at Danielle’s antics. Fast forward 13 years, and she’s still up to her antics, but now as her soon to be sister in law! They can’t wait for all their future trips together as they explore the world.
De'Angelo Castro

De and Jordan met in a summer college preparatory program called Upward Bound in the summer of 2005 and continued to spend 6 weeks a summer together til graduation. They got very close however as they both attended FSU for college. Upbeat and naturally good at anything he tries, De can always get a party started and keep it going. It was rare to see one of them without the other for many years, and while distance has changed that they remain close.

Shay was Laynie’s second new friend when she moved to Charlotte. Shay knows how to make someone laugh until they cry and she’s always down for adventure. From zip lining in the rainforest of Puerto Rico to snorkeling with sharks in The Bahamas, Laynie can always count on Shay to experience all the wild things life has to offer with her!

Another friend made at FSU, Jason has been a member of the "Tribe" since the early 2010s! His favorite artist is Ne-Yo (jk) and he and Jordan agree on all of their takes on music and sports.....kinda. While sharing the experiences of both being "girl dads", Jason is one of the most trustworthy and real people in Jordan's life and he can always depend on him to tell him something straight!

Brother of the Bride. Uncle E. Or just Eric! He's a man of many names whom Jordan can't wait to call bro-in-law. Whether he's riding a scooter way too small for him with Millie or telling embarrassing stories from Laynie's childhood that Jordan wouldn't otherwise here, it's always a pleasure to have him around!
