It was Labor day and we were gathering at my Grandparents to celebrate what I thought was just labor day. We had a great lunch as a family. We ate together then we were all relaxing on the back porch. Then Gavin asked if I wanted to go fishing at the pond at their house. I said yes, this was a very normal thing to do at my grandparents. It was just us, we got our poles and headed out. He said he needed to run inside and get his sun glasses. Then when he came back we threw out out lines and then he said "Hey Laynie" and I turned around and he was on one knee. I was so surprised and excited! It was so fun to have my family to celebrate with!
