The big day

We are hosting an intimate ceremony with our closest family at a separate venue. We are opening up to our remaining guests at 4:30pm for a cocktail style reception with heavy Hors d'oeuvres at the 7 Oaks venue in Cornelius, NC. We will be hosting until 8pm and encourage you to bring your dancing shoes!

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code for the reception is listed as “Casual”, which means comfortable, slightly elevated clothing that's dressier than everyday attire but not as formal as a cocktail dress or suit. Ultimately, we want everyone to be comfortable and enjoy their night…just don’t wear your Levi’s.

Answer

We have decided not to block rooms off at any hotels due to the low volume of traveling guests. If you are traveling and would be interested in a hotel room, please message us and if the interest grows we may block rooms. For now, we have included a few options that are affordable and close to our venue on the “Travel” page.
