It all started in high school. We were locker neighbors for all four years. Freshman year we seldom talked or even looked each other’s way. Sophomore year, we started to get closer than what we were before. We had homeroom together and got seated next to each other. We started to become pretty good friends!
After a dumb boy broke my heart sophomore year, Andrew stepped in to comfort me. We started to talk more, he tried more often to cheer me up. One day I noticed he was not in school. Something inside told me to text him and make sure he was okay. So I did. We ended up talking until 4 in the morning. After that, we talked everyday. On February 14, 2014, he asked me to be his Valentine. He completely stole my heart from then on. March 7th, 2014 we started dating. And we've been happily together ever since.
Almost 4 and a half years later, he FINALLY asked me to marry him. I thought it was going to be an ordinary day. A double date with my best friends. We went to the apple orchard to pick apples. We both enjoy doing fun and festive things outdoors. My friend and I had our backs turned to take a picture. When the picture was done, I turned around and there he was. On one knee, with tears down his face. FINALLY. It was the best moment of my entire life. The best day of my entire life. He presented the most beautiful ring I could have imagined and asked me to marry him. It was the easiest "Yes" that I've ever said.
