Kyra is a ray of sunshine personified. Born just six days before me, she has been my best friend for as long as I’ve lived. Choosing my maid of honor has never been a choice, she’s always had the role like the true drama queen she is. I’ve always considered her family as mine and mine as hers. Kyra’s mom, Lynae, will be there through her on the special day. I can’t wait to have her standing beside me on the day we’ve dreamed of since little girls.
Brielle Rivera

Brielle is my older sister and second mom. She is five years older than me and has shaped who I am. Brielle has always been the cool older sister. Exactly who I wanted to be. Extremely funny (see Mario pic), caring, generous, beautiful, and an amazing mom. Our inside jokes and thrift trips are the best. Brielle will always be there no matter what and I could not ask for a better sister and friend. I would choose her as my sister in every lifetime.
Evelyn Collins-Winn

Evelyn has been my best friend since we were toddlers. It has been so amazing growing up with her and seeing her thrive in life. She is an amazing athlete and is one of the smartest people I know. She is so funny and time has always flown by when we are together. Evelyn is not one to ever shy away from a challenge. If you ever want to go on an adventure Evelyn will be there! I am so lucky to have her as a friend and bridesmaid.
Morgan Shoemaker

Morgan is one of the most kind hearted people I know. She recently married my cousin, Slater, this past September! Her devotion to the things she loves and her work helping children and families needing support is extremely admirable. Getting closer to her over the years has been the best. She works hard to keep the family on task and focused during our game nights. Morgan is an absolute blast and always goes out of her way to make people happy. Her smile is contagious and she will always make you laugh!
Anikah Chiguina

Anikah is my future sister-in-law! She is marrying Tjaden’s brother, Trentyn, in June of 2026! As soon as I met Anikah, I knew we would be fast friends. She has an amazing sense of humor and makes everyone laugh easily. Anikah is always there to lend a hand or help with a craft. Getting together almost every weekend to hang out and play games is always the highlight of my week. I got so lucky having her as my sister-in-law and I am so excited to have her as a bridesmaid!
Trentyn George
Best Man
Gosh, I could have a herd of minions drive a caravan of memories of us from here to Chicago. Trentyn is my one and only brother, growing up together we shared a lot of time and memories together. For the most part we never argued, we were always outside making up games to pass time or thinking that we made up this awesome military name "Social Security" which our Grandpa bluntly told us it exists already and it's not what we think. We also liked to make up games inside, diving into the couch in batman a costume, laundry basketball, wrestling, and our Mom's favorite, the Slip n Slide! How convenient of us to bring an outdoor event to the kitchen, we were always too smart. Out of all the brothers Trentyn's the 2nd best, Trentyn knows who's first.

Oh goodie! Daniel Rae! I've known this guy since we were looking forward to recess at school. We've been through the haircuts, the voice changes, the long talks, you name it we've been through it. It's pretty difficult to summarize a friendship like ours; having friends you've known and been in consistent contact with for 15 years is impressive. But there's something to say about having the same friend since 10; with all the exciting changes, and not so exciting changes you can bet your britches we told each other all of it.

Logan Logan Logan.. I've always had to look up to this guy. At first, it was because he stood over a foot taller and I stood a colossal 4'7" and 74lbs (I checked my doctor records for this). And secondly, after 13 years, I've learned he's not a "go with the flow" type of guy. You can tell him what he needs to know, and he'll figure it out for himself. He knows he's got the willpower and now he's figuring out how he can refine himself to be Dad and Husband to his lovely wife Tiara, and 2 BMF kids Damian and Roslyn.
Slater Shoemaker

Slater and I have gotten exponentially closer as time went on. We weren't directly friends at first, he was an old friend's little brother. When I first met him, he was 9 years old, a little rage monster I'll tell you what. As we got older Slater would always hang out with us, and eventually we grew our own bond. Whether it was playing sports, games, or rushing to clean the house before Reynie (his Mom) got home it was always whole-hearted and fun. Slater puts his all into everything he does and it's as obvious as the fall season. I'm grateful that him and I have grown this bond through the thick and thin and I have no doubts on an everlasting friendship.
David Rivera

After typing all of these in a row, I've realized all of these connections are intertwined. David is Slater's older brother's (Cale) best friend who will now become my brother-in-law. Married to Layna's older sister, Brielle. I'd seen him around and played basketball and football with him, so David and I weren't directly friends at first, but as time passed we ended up hanging out together more and more. David wears his heart on his sleeve and is as thoughtful as can be. It's not uncommon for us to have a couple brewskis on a Saturday night, play Jackbox with some folks, and he adds another win to the books on Mario Party.
