Are kids invited?

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Please let us know if you need help finding a babysitter on Saturday. Otherwise, feel free to have your little ones join any of the other wedding weekend festivities on Friday or Sunday!

Where should I stay?
Answer
We've secured a discount for our guests at the Hotel Beau Rivage — just use promo code "LaylaMax"! Nice is home to many other well-known hotels, especially along the Promenade des Anglais. Other nearby options include the Hyatt Regency, Le Meridien, Hotel Negresco, Hotel Suisse, and the AC Marriott. There are also plenty of beautiful AirBnBs in the area, which tend to book quickly. We recommend booking within Nice, although there are plenty of Ubers and reliable public transportation across the region.

What should I wear?
Answer
June is perfect time to visit the French Riviera! Temperatures are generally in the mid 70s during the morning and afternoon, though on cloudless days it can feel much hotter. At night, especially in the mountains, temperatures can drop to low 60s.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
A shuttle to the ceremony will be available from Hotel Beau Rivage. Return shuttles will begin departing several hours before the official end of the night. Parking will also be available on site.

What does "Chateau Chic" mean?
Answer
Basically, cocktail attire: think long or short dresses, suits, and all colors! Note: block heels or wedges are recommended for anyone planning on wearing heels.

Before moving to NY, both of Layla's parents lived in France. Many of Layla's relatives still live in and around Nice, making the South of France a natural choice for a wedding celebration! Max and Layla have traveled to Nice together multiple times, where they fell in love with the charm and beauty of the French Riviera — not to mention the delicious culinary scene and the incredible views. We can't wait to celebrate with our guests coming from all over the world in this special place!
