We are getting married!

Jonathan and Layla first met in orchestra class at O'Connor High School when they were just 13. Jonathan had a crush on Layla from the beginning, and their friendship grew stronger over the years. Finally, during their senior year, Layla decided to give them a chance, and they began dating. Their favorite dates included $1 ice creams at Dairy Queen and grabbing burgers at Hometown. Two months into their relationship, Layla went away to college at TAMUCC in Corpus Christi. Determined to make long-distance work, Layla would drive to see Jonathan every weekend. During the weekdays, they stayed close by talking on the phone and FaceTiming. Jonathan eventually moved to Corpus just for Layla, dedicating himself to be with her. After Layla graduated college, they moved back to San Antonio to be with their friends and family. From best friends to partners, their journey has been incredible, and they are excited for the future together!
