We met summer of 2023. Although we had grown up only 30 minutes from each other, we didn't meet until we were in our 20s. The first time we hung out together was through mutual friends, and we have never been separated for a weekend since then. We spent the entire summer of 2023 together, but Layla had to go back to college soon. Dow drove down to Baton Rouge every single weekend for Layla's senior year at LSU. We were inseparable, and finally Layla got to move home to Natchez. We both worked while Dow finished school and saved up our money. Dow Graduated May 2025 and we were able to buy our first home in September. We have been through hard times, happy times and everything in between together. We are starting the rest of our lives here in Natchez surrounded by family, friends, and the people we love. We are so excited to see what God has in store for us. - The Future Hairstons
