For Kelsey's 31st birthday, she didn't really have any plans. But Chris did! He decided he wanted to plan out the whole day. In the morning, he got her coffee and flowers. A very sweet start to a normal birthday! Then, they went to the interactive Monet art exhibit, taking fun photos and videos together like usual. They got a cocktail at Central Standard Distillery, and then Chris dropped Kelsey off for a massage and nail appointment at the Pfister Hotel. Mind you, at this point, Kelsey is still absolutely clueless - even when the nail artist asked... "so, do you think he's proposing?" to which Kelsey said "No he's not! We've looked at rings but that's about it. We've been together 7 years and haven't been in a rush. But I am feeling so special today on my birthday!" Chris picked her up and then they got a private outdoor globe for dinner at a restaurant by their house. Just when she didn't think the day could have been any better... Chris catches her off guard with a ring box! It was actually happening! Many tears later, she said YES and so began the next chapter of their love story. <3
