Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)
DCA is the closest airport to DC and is Metro (Blue or Yellow line), Uber/Lyft, and taxi accessible. Rental cars are available as well.

Dulles International Airport (IAD)
IAD is the largest airport in the DMV region and is about 20 miles away from DC. It is Metro (Silver Line), Uber/Lyft, and Taxi accessible. Rental cars are available as well.

Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI)
BWI is the farthest away from the DC area (about 35 miles) and offers Amtrak service to downtown DC. It is Uber/Lyft, and Taxi accessible. Rental cars are available as well.

WMATA a.k.a The Metro
The Metro (or Uber/Lyft) is your best bet when it comes to getting around the city. You can purchase fare cards/tickets at any Metro stop. Just like any big city, being aware of your surroundings is always recommended. That being said, we don't recommend riding the RED line late at night....best to Uber/Lyft at that point.
