Maid of Honor
As my younger sister, I've had the blessing of knowing her since the day she was born! Always spunky, very sassy, and never boring, Olivia has a personality that allows her to spark up a conversation with anybody! Good vibes only, her smile and laugh are contagious. And even though we haven't lived in the same country for 10+ years (!!), we never have any difficulty keeping up with each other and staying in contact. She's what you would call "My ride or die". Others have called her "My identical twin". No matter what, I can't say "I do" without her right by my side.
Bridesmaid
My older sister, the wiser, more artistic, creative version of me! She's always doing all the adventures and activities I'm too scared to do. She just moved back to Canada after years of living in Japan and South Korea! You better believe she moved back to Canada the summer of 2020 to be closer to me for my wedding (kidding, she's didn't move for me but sometimes I like to think so). Dependable, reliable, the most eloquent woman with her words, she's probably the only one that will make me cry at my wedding. I'm so excited to have her by my side on such a big day!
Bridesmaid
My third sister, the one I never asked for but got anyway. She's basically been a sister to me since around the age of 9, when we started playing soccer together. I remember watching WWE Monday and Thursday nights, when we got home from soccer practice and waited for her mom to come pick her up from our house. And somehow, after playing on the same club soccer team, graduating from the same elementary and high schools, we both ended up in Michigan playing college soccer! And after that, we both pursued degrees in healthcare, and have ended up in working in California (her in South, me in North). And now, we're both getting married in 2021!! We've been traveling along parallel paths for so long now, I can't imagine the big day without her.
Bridesmaid
My soon-to-be sister-in-law, although at this point, she feels more like a true sister to me! Danica and I initially met during some difficult and challenging times. However, I still remember feeling so welcomed and accepted by her and her husband, Jeff. She is the most geniune, kind-hearted person, and her positive energy and inviting personality have been so important to Josh's and I's relationship. She is my go-to person when I need help on wedding planning, and her advice will be crucial through this whole process (especially when picking my wedding dress!). I am so honored to have her by my side through this journey.
Best Man
Dale and I go way back! After meeting as drummers in 6th grade band class, we went rogue together and switched high schools to the crosstown rival. We've remained close during Dale's time at Occidental college and my time at San Jose State University, even attending each other's graduations. When I moved to Detroit for my Master's degree, Dale made the trip in the winter to visit. Dale has been a genuine, loyal, level-headed best friend and brother for 19 years and I could not imagine anyone else standing next to me on my wedding day.
Groomsman
Andrew and I met while running as I lapped him and his sister while he was trying out for water polo in ninth grade. I can remember thinking, "Who's this weirdo that brought his sister?" Ever since then, we've been best friends. We've had our differences and arguments, but our unbreakable bond has kept us in contact for 16 years. Although a total piece of work, I can always count on Andrew to make me laugh. He's been away in the Coast Guard for a few years now, but that has not weakened our friendship. He's a true friend that puts other's needs ahead of his and goes out of his way to make sure you know he cares.
Groomsman
Jeff and I met at Camp Fox. I can remember him, in this suit jacket, always the best dressed. Each year, after camp, Jeff would not hesitate to drive up to Burbank from Fountain Valley to visit me or host me (and maybe Andrew or Dale) for the day if we drove down to Fountain Valley. And after camp, Jeff would continue to remain in contact with texts or calls to set up times/days for us to hang out. In fact, Jeff was the first person I went to Vegas with when we turned 21! Although Jeff never got around to teaching me how to surf, Jeff truly does exemplify what it is to be a friend. In times of need, I am always amazed by Jeff's ability to show up. That being said, he wasn't going to show up this time because he was too busy. :'(
Groomsman
Jeff is the brother I never had. Always laughing and making jokes, albeit cringeworthy at times. He is a great guy that deeply loves my sister (and their baby to be). His dedication to my sister and our family has been such an inspiration. I can always count of Jeff to guide me in the right direction in times of need. Despite his growing television career, he remains down-to-Earth and does not let his celebrity status go to his head. But most importantly, I can 100% count on Jeff to get Wing Stop with me when we're visiting each other.
