Things To Do

There are endless things to do in Philadelphia, but here are some suggestions for our favorite spots, and what we think YOU might be interested in during your time in the city!

Reading Terminal Market

51 North 12th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107
, (215) 922-2317

This is one of our must-visits in the city! Get your Philly Cheesesteak, or visit DiNic's for the best roast pork sandwich you'll ever have! Amish bakery items (beware they are closed on Sundays) and other specialty vendors make this place a can't miss!

Philadelphia Museum of Art

2600 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, PA 19130
, (215) 763-8100

If you've never been to Philly before, chances are you'll want to make a stop at the famous "Rocky" steps. After you take a jaunt up the steps, spend some time at the museum itself. They always have interesting exhibits going on.

Barnes Foundation

2025 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, PA 19130
, (215) 278-7000

Philadelphia City Hall

1400 John F Kennedy Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA 19107
, (215) 686-1776

The famous City Hall! A 37-foot William Penn sits atop this historic building in the heart of the city. Walk around outside or take a tour of the inside! City Hall sits right alongside Dilworth Park and is right by the Ben Franklin Parkway, which takes you to the Art Museum.

Love Park

Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA 19102
, (215) 686-1776

Get your picture with the iconic LOVE statue! It's just across the street from City Hall, and you'll also get a great view of the Art Museum down the Ben Franklin Parkway!

Independence Visitor Center

599 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106
, (800) 537-7676

The birthplace of America! If you want to take in some history while in Philadelphia, check out Independence Hall. It's only a 10 minute walk from the hotel, and the surrounding area is filled with other great things to do! A fair warning - the line to get in to see the Liberty Bell gets VERY long at times. You can see it from the outside of the building, so we suggest doing that instead :)

Elfreth's Alley

124-126 Elfreth's Alley, Philadelphia, PA 19106
, (215) 574-0560

Take a stroll down the oldest residential street in America! The alley is still a thriving residential community which is home to artists and artisans, educators and entrepreneurs, and everything in-between. The street has colorful doors and great photo opportunities.
