Lawrence loves toast so much that he kept a toaster in the living room of the fraternity house. He only recently found out Tracy was the one who stole his toast that fateful day back in January 2014 when they first met. That was the start of a friendship that continued to grow and mature alongside the individuals, ultimately resulting in a relationship that continues to grow as the people in it mature. We've shared many happy memories cheering on our Clemson tigers, parenting Atticus and Apollo, starting new jobs, and traveling around the world. We can't wait to continue our life of adventure as a married couple!
Lawrence told Tracy he'd made brunch reservations with friends they hadn't seen in awhile. When they pulled into Clemson, there was a lot of construction, and he suggested they walk to downtown. Clemson lore states any couple who walks through President's Park holding hands will get married, and Tracy was suspicious until they walked right through the Gazebo - the most likely spot to stop and propose. She didn't know their friend, Christine, was hiding in the bushes up ahead and had laid out a tape mark for the ideal proposal spot. He dropped to one knee, and she said "YES"!
