We first met at Wirth Middle School (core 7-2) nothing more than Hi & Bye for two years. Then we were off to high school. Football for him and JROTC for me. Despite having several classes together like Ms. Webb English class, we still managed another 3 years on just Hi & Bye. I remember saying to a friend how cute he is and after that she made funny of me every time he walked by. My senior year of high school when I transferred from Cahokia to Belleville West I assumed that would be the end of my days with Cahokia boy's, and it was for a while. After graduating from high and going off to college I started experiencing a lot of hard life lessons, and one of my oldest and dearest friends was there doing what she does best in my case which is a lot of hand holding helping me get through hard times. 12/08 When we walked into Big Daddy's 618 the first person I saw was Lawrence, and he brought a smile to my face because he was doing the same thing I always remember him doing sitting off to side by himself. I was in a mood so I just walked passed him without even speaking. I felt him watching me and my friend noticed him watching so she finally said that guy keeps staring at you, and I told her, "That's Lawrence Parker we went to school and he want to speak, but he can't remember my name. We started laughing and kept talking, but I still felt him watching and thinking. When he moved from the bar and was standing up against the wall still watching I decided to put him out of his misery, so I walked over to him with the intent to make him feel bad for not remembering me. The first thing I said to him was hey Lawrence Parker how are you doing and he said, "Hi I thought that was you! My reply was you don't know my name do you? He started to smile and laugh, then his reply was yeah it's on the tip of my tongue don't tell me a few minutes later and still no name I decided to end my own misery and told him my name after that we danced to Britney Spears all night and forever more.
