No More Lawley Gaggin, We're getting Married!

Thanksgiving day we were both working (he a paramedic, and I and ED nurse), when Lawley decided to bring a patient into my hospital. Radio report sounded like Charlie Brown's teacher so I asked this medic to repeat vitals. Now I'm not sure who pissed in this medics cheerio's, but a very sassy "Blood pressure ... Heart rate.... resp..... SPO2 .... clear in all fields, finger stick ....." and literally everything to know about this patient from birth until now. This crew rolls into the door so I look at the EMT and asked "was that you that just got sassy with me on the radio?" He shook his head no and pointed to Lawley. Not thinking it was actually him because he is usually so nice I asked "was that you that just got sassy with me on the radio?" to which Lawley replied "I'm sorry the radio has been messing up..." blah blah. So me, being a smartass said "well heck you told me everything except what she was wearing". He, not missing a beat looked at patient and stated "a black dress". In that moment, I knew this usually sweet sweet man had a side I was intrigued to investigate and dubbed him sassy pants. I instantly facebook stalked and started up a conversation to which I discovered this awkward, shy man that sparked my interest even more. We talked for a few days, exchanged pickup lines, and FINALLY (after like a week maybe) decided to meet up for the first time outside of work. It took maybe an hour to realize I was hooked, took him walking through the door for him to be all in (haha just kidding, but probably). Our conversation was all honest, open, and vulnerable. Since that day we've never been a part and continue to live our best lives.
