We met through friends when Ryan moved to Philly for a job. We found out we lived down the street from each other while Ryan was living with his cousin. After a year of small hangouts with friends, we started dating and going on adventures together! Our biggest adventure was taking the leap to live together in Dayton OH when Ryan took a job with University of Dayton Research Institute in 2018. Now we live in our house with our two cats Pepper and Blair.

Ryan proposed to me on New Years Eve early in the evening at his mom's house. We were sitting in the bar area of the basement with friends and we all started talking about what we were looking forward to in the new year (pre-planned!). When it was Ryan's turn he said he was looking forward to spending the rest of his life with me and asked me to marry him!
