When should I RSVP by?

What if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will definitely be missed, but we understand! Please RSVP “no” to let us know as soon as possible so that we may plan accordingly

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Wear whatever makes you comfortable! The ceremony will be outside (weather permitting) and the reception will be inside a barn

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

The address to the venue is listed on your invitation. The address will show up using maps on a smartphone or GPS device. Signs will be put out on the main roads to help guide guests to the venue and parking area

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive at least a half hour before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, guests will move over to the barn for a cocktail hour. A light snack and nonalcoholic beverages will be provided. There will also be a bar available for guests to purchase drinks. If it’s nice out, yard games will be set up outside the barn!

Will there be a bar at the reception?

Answer

There will be a cash bar available to guests. There is no ATM on the property and the bar does not accept cards. Please bring cash if you’d like to purchase drinks.

What kind of food will be served at the reception?

Answer

Greenwald Pub out of Greenwald, MN will be catering a buffet style meal with two different meat choices, potato, and vegetable

Where is the couple registered?

Answer

We are registered at Target, Crate and Barrel, and Menards! Please check out the “Registry” section of our website for links to our registries!

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We have a discount link listed on the “Travel” section of our website for the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Willmar. Attached to the Holiday Inn is also the Best Western Plus. Other hotels in the Willmar area include the AmericInn by Wyndham, and the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson

Is there transportation to/from the hotel and venue?

Answer

There will not be shuttle transportation to the venue from the hotel. One shuttle will be available to guests after the dance ends at 11:15pm. This shuttle will take guests to the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Willmar. Guests are able to leave vehicles overnight at the venue and return for their vehicles the next day. We asks that guests please drink responsibly!
