FAQs

The Wedding Website of Julie Ricou and Greg Lawson
Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We'd love for our guests to join us in semi-formal attire. Dress to impress and be ready to party! All dress lengths are welcome, and jackets and ties are optional. Please no jeans or denim.

Question

Is there transportation provided to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes! We will be offering a shuttle service between the venue and the Holiday Inn in Madison, OH. Shuttles will be available starting at 3pm and running every 15 minutes until the last shuttle leaves at 4pm.

Question

Where will the ceremony and reception take place?

Answer

Both will be held at the same venue, Running Horse Farm. The ceremony and cocktail hour, weather permitting, will be held outdoors, where a combination of grass, cement and gravel can be found so please plan accordingly when selecting footwear. The reception will be held indoors. The weather in Ohio can be quite unpredictable, with some hot and humid days, but the average temperature in June is usually around 75F (for my metric friends that's 24C)

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 pm. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow time to park and find your seat.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your littles ones, we unfortunately cannot accommodate everyone's children at our venue. The only children attending our wedding will be those 12 and above who have been included in your invitation/RSVP. For those of you with younger children we kindly ask that you take this rare night off of parenting to come party with us!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately we are only able to accommodate the guests who formally appear on your invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Absolutely! We will be offering an assortment of beer, wine, and signature cocktails. Non-alcoholic options will also be provided. We cannot wait to have you by our side to celebrate our special day!

Question

How do I RSVP and by when?

Answer

To RSVP, please click on the RSVP tab on this website, and type in your name as it appears on your invite. If you have received a plus one, their names will show up under yours and you will be able to RSVP for your whole party. Please RSVP before May 1, 2025, to help us get a final headcounts to our vendors. Unfortunately, if we do not receive your RSVP by May 1st we won’t be able to count you in attendance.

Question

Do I need to learn French?

Answer

Non :)

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

The venue has its own private parking lot with ample space for all guests to park at. However, if you plan on having a (few) drink(s), we encourage you to plan accordingly and utilize the shuttle service at your disposal to and from the venue.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony meaning we are asking for all phones and devices to be put away during the ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer to capture the moment for all of us and we will happily share those pictures! After the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many photos as you want!

Question
