It all began on July 7, 2021, with a message on an app called BLK. He reached out first—just a simple “hello”—but neither of them knew that it would change their lives forever. They talked nonstop for two weeks before realizing they lived only three minutes from each other. Meeting in person felt natural, easy, and exciting. They hung out a few times, but the bride wasn’t so sure at first. He was so kind—almost too good to be true—and she pushed him away. But he didn’t go anywhere. He stayed, quietly, patiently, and faithfully. Over time, their connection grew into a beautiful friendship. For a full year, they became each other’s safe place, best friend, and favorite person to laugh with. And then, in a way only God can orchestrate, He placed the bride back on the groom’s heart. When they gave their love another chance, something felt different. This time, it was certain. This time, it was meant. Their families saw it too—especially hers, who always said there was no one better for her than him. In August 2025, he asked her to marry him, and now they joyfully prepare to say “I do” on March 20, 2026. What began with a message has grown into a lifetime of love, faith, and forever.
