Question

What is a Polterabend?

Answer

Traditionally, a German Polterabend (or Polterei) was a way to send off the bridal couple into married life by smashing stoneware and porcelain the night before the wedding. Nowadays, this tradition has evolved into a fun "roast" of both the bride and groom by their friends and family—just to make sure they know exactly what they’re getting themselves into! The roast is limited only by your creativity; it can be a song, a speech, a short play, a sketch, or anything else you can dream up. While performing is completely optional, if you would like to participate (either solo or as a group), please contact Max (+49 170 3863820) and Constantin (+49 170 2303591) to register your slot.
