We’re getting married!

Raven and Lavince's story began in 2009, in 7th-grade drama class. It was Lavince's infectious humor that first drew Raven in, sparking an immediate friendship that soon blossomed into something deeper. Despite Lavince’s obvious crush, Raven was unsure of her own feelings, so they remained friends. For a year and a half, Lavince's relentless charm and genuine smiles kept Raven’s heart guessing. Then, in the quiet hours of March 2011, at precisely 1:16 a.m., Lavince took a leap of faith and asked Raven to be his girlfriend. She said yes, and their secret romance began… because they were only 13 and not suppose to be dating, of course. Fast forward to today, Raven and Lavince are not just fiancés but inseparable best friends. As they look forward to their wedding day, they laugh about the long journey that led them here, knowing that their story has only just begun.

Raven had been eager to tie the knot for ages, but Lavince was determined to make the moment perfect. She often teased him with playful ultimatums, saying, "Hurry up and propose or else," peppered with sly remarks about still not being a wife. One day, she said more seriously this time, "You’ve got until the end of the year to propose. I refuse to be a girlfriend going into 2024." Lavince just laughed and replied, "Okay." As the months rolled on, September 2023 arrived, and Raven and Lavince set off to Los Angeles, supposedly to celebrate their daughter Nyla’s 2nd birthday. Unbeknownst to Raven, Lavince had bigger plans in mind. On the third day of their trip, he swept her away on a sunset gondola ride along a serene river. Their gondolier, a charming Italian man, serenaded them with beautiful Italian songs as they glided through the water. Midway through their journey, they spotted a glass bottle floating nearby, a message tucked inside. Raven was instructed to fish it out, revealing a scroll that read, "Happy New Year, baby. I love you." Shortly after, they arrived at a beach and Raven's eyes widened in astonishment. Awaiting them on the beach were roses, candles, music, and large letters that spelled out "Marry Me." Overwhelmed with emotion, she burst into tears, crying for ten minutes before finally saying yes. To add to the magic, her parents emerged from the shadows, having been flown out by Lavince to witness their only daughter's proposal. After savoring the moment of their engagement for the last year, Raven and Lavince are now eagerly looking forward to their Happily Ever After.
