Hello friends and family! Steven and I met at a chamber event that he had. I served on a board that also had a mutual board member, Evelyn. She insisted and insisted I become a member of the chamber. I had no interest in joining any more organizations or taking on any additional tasks or committees. She insisted so much that she said "If you go with me to this one event and you don't like it I will never talk to you about the chamber again". So I went. I met Steven and he kept coming over to my table to talk. I didn't think anything of it. A few weeks later we had seen each other at a luncheon at La Renaissance. We said our hello's and that was it. A few months later I saw him and his cousin at Starbucks. Again...nothing of it. Then one cold evening in November during the annual Parade of lights there I stood under a street light and had seen him driving his dads truck with his brothers float for school. I screamed his name and his frown turned upside down! That evening he messaged me on FB and asked me to meet him at lunch to talk about a group. We met, lunched, and never spoke about that group. That Saturday I invited him to an event at PCC I was speaking at and he invited me for the Nutcracker ballet and dinner with his friends. The rest is history! We were together EVERYDAY thereafter and became inseparable from there. We officially began dating December 8, 2012. A few years later we moved in to our first home together and our fur baby Winston joined our family! We wanted to make our wedding special by celebrating our 10 year anniversary on our wedding date with all our close friends and family!
