In 2016, Julia and Connor met while in school at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. They became quick friends and soon realized they were each others favorite person to spend time with. Scared to leave the “friend-zone”, it took almost a year for Julia and Connor to admit to each other they were falling in love. Needless to say, none of their friends were surprised. After graduating in 2018, Connor joined the Marine Corps to follow his dream of becoming a fighter pilot, and Julia moved to San Diego. Three years of long distance followed, with many too-short visits back and forth between California, Virginia, and Florida. In Summer of 2021, Connor was stationed in Mississippi and Julia, never having lived anywhere outside of California, packed her bags and drove across the country so they could finally be together. A memorable year in Mississippi flew by, and the Marine Corps brought them back to California last fall. Through all the changes, Julia and Connor's love and commitment to one another continued to grow stronger, and they are so excited for the adventures to come!
