Question
What should I wear to the wedding???
Answer
The dress code is semi-formal, but if you’d like to blend into the setting, we recommend spring colors and patterns. Think garden formal attire (florals, fun colors, beige or blue jackets, flowy skirts and dresses.) For shoes - there will be some walking required, including small hills, stairs, dirt, and grass. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes or bringing an extra pair of flats just in case. Flats, block heels, or wedges are recommended. Note there will be golf carts available for those who need assistance getting around the property. We don’t care what you wear, we just want you to be comfortable and feel amazing in your outfit! We know it can be hard and expensive to find the dress you want, especially if you’re only going to wear it once. Nicole highly recommends Rent The Runway if you’re thinking about renting. You can reserve a dress for the weekend and RTR will send you two sizes just in case you’re not sure which size is right. Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Both! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held outside. Dessert and dancing will be held inside. In the event of rain, all events will be held indoors.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the venue?
Answer
Yes! We will have shuttles available for our guests as the roads to the venue are dark and difficult to navigate. The shuttles will pick up at the Toll House Hotel in Los Gatos at 3:00pm. After the wedding, shuttles will take guests back to the Toll House Hotel. If you are attending the After Party, it is only a short walk from the Hotel. Note you do not have to use the shuttles provided.

What is the parking situation at the venue?
Answer
Parking at the venue is limited and we encourage our guests to use the provided shuttles or carpool. The road to get to the venue is also dark and winding, so please keep that in mind when planning your transportation. Note disabled parking is available for guests who may need it. Please let Justin and Nicole know if you will require a disabled parking spot and they will make sure Nestldown staff will be available to direct you to the right place. Rideshare: While it may be easy for guests to take a Lyft/Uber to the venue, getting a return ride will be more difficult. Cell reception at the venue is spotty and it may be difficult to connect to a driver. We recommend taking one of the shuttles down to the hotels and calling an Uber/Lyft from there. If you plan on using Uber/Lyft to get to and from the venue, we strongly encourage you to reserve your ride ahead of time. Any guests remaining in the parking lot after 10pm will incur a fee to Nicole and Justin's wallet.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Please arrive at 3:30pm to allow yourself time to find your seat. Our ceremony will be begin at 4:00pm (with our without you so please don't miss it)!

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
Answer
No we have not set up hotel blocks, but you can find our recommended hotels in the Travel section of our website. Our top choice is the Toll House Hotel in Downtown Los Gatos!

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
Absolutely there will be. *Please note the venue prohibits shots of liquor, neat drinks, and "on the rocks" drinks.

Can I bring my own alcohol to the venue?
Answer
No. Please do not bring any flasks, mini bottles, secret flasks (including but not limited to sunscreen bottle flasks, bracelet flasks, tampon flasks, hairbrush flasks, power bank flasks, binocular flasks, umbrella flasks, sport bra flask pouches, and/or ankle monitor flasks), wine purses, camel baks, or any other secret containers you can find on the internet. We will have plenty of drinks available for our guests including beer, wine, liquor, speciality cocktails, and mocktails.

Do you have a registry?
Answer
Your presence at our wedding to celebrate with us is all we ask for! Please do not feel obligated to give us anything (we love you all regardless) but if you would like contribute to one of our cash funds, please check out the registry page. A wedding card box will also be at our reception.

Am I allowed to take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
Please leave the ceremony photos to our photographer. The rest of our wedding is fair game (and highly encouraged).

What is the After Party and do I have to attend?
Answer
The After Party is for any guests who want to continue celebrating with us after our formal reception. There's no requirement to attend but please RSVP if you plan to join us. Note the venue is 21+. Our After Party will be held at Number 1 Broadway, a bar in downtown Los Gatos, right next-door to the Toll House Hotel. We will have a VIP section reserved for our guests and the cover charge will be waived. Just let the bouncer at the door know you're with the Justin and Nicole Wedding.

Did Nicole really hand make every Save the Date??
Answer
You bet she did! Each Save the Date was handmade and hand painted by Nicole, using a combination of Letterpress and watercolor techniques. Letterpress printing is a form of relief printing, where the text or image is on a raised surface, similar to a rubber stamp. Ink is applied to the raised surface and then paper is pressed directly against it to transfer the text/image. Each one is slightly different and unique, with no two being exactly the same. The flowers painted on the Save the Dates have their own significance as well. Included on the invitations are Forget Me Nots, Wild Violets, Foxgloves, Lady’s Bedstraw, Pink Daisies, and Spanish Brooms.
