We’re saying I do again!

We first met in homeroom of the original South Side high school our junior year. It wasn’t love at first sight lol. There’s a story behind this one! But as fate would have it, we developed a amazing friendship and marriage! Now, here we are again choosing to say “ I Do” once more. Lynn

How we met is not really important. We met, she was walking around all preppy and me being cool I wasn’t feeling her. But one day she wore this little white dress to school and the rest is history. D.Hayes

The first time he asked me to marry him he just woke up one morning after we had been planning this big wedding n said to me; Do you want to get married? Wasn’t a lot of fanfare he didn’t drop to one knee n calling his bluff I said ok lol. We dropped off our two babies, grabbed a couple of rings from the pawn shop, n off we went to the courthouse. We took pictures at Blue Light, ate at a buffet restaurant n went to church. 26 years later I jokingly said we were renewing our vows n wanted my dream wedding n he said ok. This time he dropped to one knee in a restaurant full of people with three of our adult children around n another on a video call n put a ring on it! I cried xoxo Lynn
