FAQs

Important Information below!
Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 4 pm to find your seat and settle in. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 pm.

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 1, 2026, so we can finalize the headcount and all the important details for the celebration.

Question

Is there transportation available?

Answer

Yes, we recommend booking your airport transportation through a trusted vendor we’ve personally used. This service partners with the hotel for a seamless arrival and departure. Once your travel is confirmed, please contact Axel at axel.maclalagutierrez@amstardmc.com or call/text +52 624 117 9332 to reserve. The cost is $56 USD per person, one way, or you can join the RIU Class loyalty program for potential savings and perks. Shuttles and taxis are also available on the property for getting around during your stay.

Question

How do I book my room?

Answer

Rooms can be reserved directly through the RIU Palace Baja California website. There is no official room block, so we strongly recommend booking as soon as possible to secure your preferred dates and room type - availability is limited and rooms could sell out quickly! You can book here: https://www.riu.com/es/hotel/mexico/los-cabos/hotel-riu-palace-baja-california

Question

What is included in the hotel price?

Answer

Your stay includes all meals and snacks at six restaurants, plus a buffet. You’ll also enjoy unlimited beverages (including premium liquor), 24-hour room service, a fully stocked minibar, and an in-room liquor dispenser. Guests have access to four pools (including a swim-up bar), a water park, a fitness center, and daily activities such as themed pool parties, along with nightly entertainment and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the resort.

Question

What is the recommended length of stay?

Answer

You’re welcome to stay as long as you like. While there is a three night minimum, we recommend staying four nights to fully enjoy all of the festivities and the beautiful resort.

Question

Can I stay at a different hotel?

Answer

To help keep the celebration seamless and ensure everyone can easily join in the festivities, we kindly request that all guests stay at the RIU Palace Baja California. Staying at the same resort will make traveling to and from events easier and help create a more connected experience.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We know leaving your little ones behind is no small ask, and we’re truly grateful. Due to the nature of this event, we’ve chosen to keep the weekend adults only. Thank you for making the trip and joining us for this special celebration.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To keep our celebration intimate, we ask that only those listed on your invitation join us. If a plus is included, it’ll be noted on your invitation.

Question

Do I need to purchase my own flights?

Answer

Yes, guests are responsible for booking their own flights to Cabo. We recommend flying into Los Cabos International Airport (SJD), located in San José del Cabo. This airport offers a wider selection of flights and often more affordable options compared to Cabo San Lucas International Airport (CSL).

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

For the ceremony, our dress code is coastal formal, inspired by the stunning Cabo setting. We suggest elegant dresses or gowns in soft, muted tones for women, and suits or tuxedos in neutral or earthy shades for men. Since the event is outdoors on a rooftop, we recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap for the evening breeze.

Question

Do I need to buy a gift?

Answer

Absolutely not! Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for and we’re just thrilled to celebrate with you in paradise. However, if you'd like to give a gift, we’d be grateful for a contribution to our honeymoon fund.

Question

What’s the weather like in Cabo in November?

Answer

November in Cabo is warm and sunny, with average highs in the low-80s°F. Cabo evenings typically cool down to the mid-60s to low-70s°F, so we recommend bringing a light layer or jacket for sunset events.

Question

Are there any group activities planned?

Answer

Yes! We’ll be kicking things off with a sunset dinner cruise on Thursday, November 12. This is optional but highly encouraged - it includes an open bar and incredible views of the Cabo Arch. On Friday, November 13, we’ll be getting together for welcome drinks at the resort. You can find all the details on the Schedule page.

Question

Is the water safe to drink?

Answer

The water and ice at the resort are filtered and safe to drink, but for peace of mind, we recommend sticking with bottled water. Most restaurants in Cabo also use filtered water, but it’s always a good idea to double-check when venturing off property.

Question

What if I have too many margaritas?

Answer

We love to have a good time and things will get rowdy, but we kindly ask that everyone keeps it classy. Let’s keep the weekend fun, safe, and drama-free. Your poise and good vibes mean the world to us!
