It all started at a college party. Scott had been eyeing Lauryn all night from across the room, and finally at the end of the party, got up enough courage/had enough to drink to ask Lauryn to dance. She thought this was very old-fashioned, but she agreed. Once the party was over, Scott followed Lauryn onto the party bus back to campus and they talked the whole way back. After some time passed, Scott called Lauryn to ask her to out. Lauryn thought that Scott was "too nice" and was very skeptical of him, so she kept dodging his calls. Finally, he wore her down and she agreed to go to dessert with him at Sweet Life. They ended up hitting it off and decided to go to a movie after dessert. Scott didn't try and hold her hand the entire movie and when he dropped her off he froze up and kicked her out of his car. Later he realized how he messed up and tried desperately to win her affection. After playing hard to get for a very long time Lauryn eventually realized that Scott in fact was as genuine as he seemed and she finally gave in. Scott asked Lauryn out by following her home one night after work without her knowing...(CREEPY). When she got home one of Lauryn's girlfriends was acting weird on their front porch. Scott then jumped out of a bush and asked her to be his girlfriend and the rest is history! Since then they've shared some of life's best experiences together. Moving to San Francisco, Phoenix, and Bend, traveling all over the globe, going to concerts and music festivals, buying 2 homes, and adopting the love of their life, Sunny.
