Owen and Lauryn met through mutual friends in July 2017. Lauryn was about to start college at UH, and Owen was in AIT in Virginia. They quickly became friends and realized that they had a deep connection. While Owen was on leave in Houston (during Hurricane Harvey), they were finally able to go on a date, and it truly was love at first sight. They immediately clicked, and it was as if they had known each other for years. Long-distance was tough, but they proved they could withstand so much from the beginning. Lauryn would fly back and forth from Houston to North Carolina often, and Zoom call dates were a regular thing. They quickly became engaged in March 2018 while on a hike and eloped on July 25, 2018. From North Carolina to Houston to Oklahoma, they have experienced so much change over the years. Now having 2 dogs, 1 cat, and two beautiful children, they could not be happier. Since they had eloped and were not able to celebrate with family and friends in 2018, they had dreamed of planning an event to honor their marriage and everything they had grown through. Now, for their 8th anniversary, they are finally able to do so! They could not be more excited and can't wait to celebrate with their nearest and dearest. We love you all dearly, The Lambs
