FAQs

Question

Where is the ceremony/reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be at Caribou Bay Retreat in Coloma, WI. We know that Coloma is a bit out of the way, so we are keeping things simple and having everything at the same place.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal is preferred. Wisconsin weather can be unpredictable in October, so make sure to dress in layers in case it is chilly outside. We plan on having the ceremony outside, but if the weather does not cooperate we will move the ceremony inside the reception hall. But we are hoping for good weather!

Question

Are plus ones welcome?

Answer

The short answer is yes! We did our best to make sure every individual guest has a plus one added to their invite, so you should see it as an option when you RSVP. If you do not see one, we either missed it, or you were included in a family group invite, so feel free to reach out to either of us if you would like a plus one but can't see one. That being said, we do have a hard cap of how many people we can seat in the reception hall for dinner, so if you don't see a plus one but would like one, please let us know!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Yes! Again, we tried to make sure all children were included in family invites, but if we missed someone, you should be able to add additional children when you RSVP.

Question

Where should guests stay?

Answer

We have some rooms blocked off at the Home2 Suites by Hilton in Stevens Point. You can call the hotel directly and ask to book a room in the Wilcox/Beatty wedding block, or use this link to book online: https://www.hilton.com/en/attend-my-event/stewiht-wbw-d6207c53-4e80-49a4-aaed-164bfb76809e/ There are also a number of Airbnbs and Vrbos in the Coloma/Wautoma area that are great options too.
