We're getting married!

Our story began on July 10th, 2021, when Joey was introduced to me by his brother, Alex. At the time, Joey had just moved to Florida, and I (Lauryn) was working as a bartender in downtown Gainesville. Not long after, Joey started working at the same bar as a security guard. What started as a simple friendship quickly grew into something much more — before we knew it, we were inseparable. We spent countless evenings talking for hours, often falling asleep on the phone together, and our shared love for fishing became one of the many ways we fell deeper in love. On November 8th, 2021, we moved in together and began learning the beautiful (and sometimes messy) art of sharing a home and a life. A year later, on October 15th, 2022, Joey asked me to marry him. I said yes — not because everything was perfect, but because I knew we were ready to grow, build, and become stronger together. Since then, life has brought us so many blessings. Together, we worked hard, built our foundation, and even bought our first home. Now, after growing as partners, parents, and best friends, we’re beyond excited to finally celebrate our love with the wedding we’ve always dreamed of — surrounded by our family and friends, on a day we’ll never forget.
