If you’ve never been to northern Michigan, one of our biggest recommendations is to rent a boat and anchor it at the Torch Lake Sandbar!
Grand Traverse Bike Tours
This is a self-guided “tour” where you get a regular or electric bicycle to bike around to the wineries in Suttons Bay! This is how Lauryn & Grant found their venue 2 summers ago. Lauryn and her dad have biked the wineries through this company for the past 5 years.
Mackinac Island
If you need an idea for a day trip and have never been, you should definitely go to Mackinac Island. It’s a couple hour drive or bus to Mackinaw City where you’ll get on a quick ferry (purchase tickets ahead of time!!!). This island is known for having no motorized vehicles of any kind, it’s amazing fudge, and really cool history. You’ll have to get around by foot, bike, horseback, or carriage!
