The Beginning: Lauryn (19) met Evan (20) at a coffee shop at UCSD while he was sitting with their mutual friend, Natalie H. Lauryn sat down and talked at Evan, all while he tried to finish homework for his upcoming class. Over the next few months, they started studying together in the library. Lauryn earned her best grades that quarter, and Evan received his worst. They both confided in their mutual friend, Audrey, how much they liked each other and she set them up. Their first date was at Taco Stand in La Jolla. He was so nervous he had a run through of the date to check parking, and she was so nervous she dropped her taco at dinner. They've been dating ever since. The Proposal: On September 12th, 2023, Evan proposed and Lauryn giddily accepted at the Chatsworth House in England. For those who don't know, it was the filming location of her favorite movie, Pride & Prejudice. Ask Evan about his adventures booking the proposal photographer from across the pond! Their Future: They plan to continue living on the East Coast with their adopted dog, Rommie, for the foreseeable future. They're considering living abroad for some time but hope to eventually move back to California <3
