WHERE SHOULD WE STAY? We’ve reserved a room block at The Fives Hotel and Residences in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. This is also where the wedding will take place. HOW DO I BOOK MY STAY? Please visit the "Travel" on our website and reach out to Miguel. Be sure to book by October 6th, 2026 to get the group rate. Final payment is due December 6th, 2026 CAN I STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE? Yes, but we’d love for everyone to stay at the resort to make it easier to celebrate together!

WHAT AIRPORT SHOULD I FLY INTO? Cancún International Airport (CUN) is the closest airport to the wedding location. Do I NEED A PASSPORT OR VISA TO TRAVEL TO MEXICO? Yes, a valid passport is required. South African guests may also need a visa—please check with your local embassy. IS TRANSPORTATION FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE RESORT PROVIDED? We recommend booking a shuttle or private transfer in advance. We’ll share recommended services soon. CAN YOU RECOMMEND A TRAVEL AGENT? Yes! WHAT'S INCLUDED AT THE RESORT? The Fives is an all-inclusive resort, meaning guests can enjoy: 14 on-site restaurants and 6 bars All meals, snacks, and drinks Pools, beach access, and poolside service Daily activities and nightly entertainment WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE AVAILABLE? There’s something for everyone at The Fives! Guests can enjoy: Beach and pool time Fitness center and wellness activities Kayaks and non-motorized water sports Live music and evening shows Spa services (available for an additional cost) For those looking to explore, the concierge can also help arrange off-site excursions, including cenotes, snorkeling, and visits to nearby Playa del Carmen.

📅 Wedding Schedule

WHEN IS THE WEDDING? The wedding is on Saturday February 6th, 2027. Ceremony starts at 4:00pm, followed by the reception. ARE THERE OTHER EVENTS? Yes! Safari Welcome Party: Friday February 5th, 2027 Day After Pool Day: Sunday February 7th, 2027 WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE AND LEAVE? We recommend arriving by Friday February 5th, 2027 and staying at least until Monday February 8th, 2027 (anyone is more than welcome to extend their stay before or after these dates!) WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE TO THE CEREMONY? We recommend that you arrive at least 20-30 minutes before our 4:00pm ceremony time. This gives us enough time to be on schedule! WHAT IF I DON'T RSVP IN TIME? If you do not RSVP by OCTOBER 1 2026, you will be marked as "not attending". We would love to celebrate with you, however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors for food, drink and seating and cannot accommodate late RSVPs.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? (PLEASE SEE "Our Photos" section for attire mood boards!) Wedding: Beach Formal (light suits, dresses, dressy sandals okay) For our big day we ask that you step it up a notch and wear something more formal! We will have the rest of the trip to lean into the casual beachy vibes. A mix between formal and cocktail attire is great! "Cocktail attire" refers to a semi-formal dress code, meaning you should dress up nicely but not as formally as a black-tie event; a balance between elegance and comfort while still looking polished and put together! Have fun with patterns, colors, textures :) Ladies: A cocktail dress, a midi or maxi/long dress would be perfect! Guys: We recommend a suit or dress pants & a jacket. Ties optional! **no shorts** as the day goes on, no shoes- no problem :) Safari Welcome Party: Once you get settled, meet us for some welcome drinks! We would love to welcome you to our weekend with some delicious cocktails and great company in the jungle. Safari Party Attire: Earth Tones + Muted Animal Prints Whites, Creams, Tans, Browns, Olives, Blacks & muted Animal prints if desired! Day After Pool Party: Casual & comfortable WHAT'S THE WEATHER LIKE? Expect warm, sunny days (around 80-85°F/ 27-29°C) with a chance of tropical showers. IS THE CEREMONY INDOORS OR OUTDOORS? Outdoors near the beach!

WILL FOOD AND DRINKS BE PROVIDED? Yes! All food and drinks are included throughout your stay. The resort and all of its restaurants and bars are part of the all-inclusive experience, so you’re free to enjoy everything they offer.

WHERE ARE YOU REGISTERED? We have a honeymoon fund & registry listed on the "Registry" tab of the website! CAN WE BRING GIFTS TO MEXICO? We ask that you do not bring gifts to Mexico, due to the international travel rules/claims + no one needs extra baggage weight! Please refer to our registry tab on our site if interested and the option to ship it to us will be included.

💸 Money & Tips WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED IN MEXICO? Mexican Pesos (MXN), but U.S. Dollars are widely accepted at the resort. Most bars, restaurants, and stores accept credit cards! However, you should carry cash for things like taxis, smaller purchases and tips. We recommend exchanging money ahead of time through your bank, but there are ATMs available in Tulum if needed. *Remember to alert your Credit Card company that you are traveling internationally* ARE TIPS INCLUDED AT THE RESORT? Some tips are included, but additional tipping is always appreciated for great service.

WILL I HAVVE WIFI OR CELL SERVICE? Yes, the resort offers free Wi-Fi. Check with your provider for international roaming options. DO I NEED A SIM CARD? Not necessary unless you plan to travel outside the resort or stay longer. Wi-Fi should be sufficient.

CAN I STAY LONGER AND MAKE A VACATION OUT OF IT? Absolutely! Many guests are planning to relax and explore before or after the wedding. CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE? We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a +1, their name will appear with your name when you RSVP.
