Closest Airport
For guests flying in, the closest airport to Carmel-by-the-Sea is Monterey Regional Airport (MRY), located about a 15-minute drive away. Please note that it is a smaller airport with limited flight options and connections. The closest major airport is Mineta San José International Airport (SJC), approximately 1.5 hours from the area. San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is another convenient option, typically around a 90-minute to 2-hour drive depending on traffic.
