Travel Note
There are a handful of airports in the National Capital Region you can utilize! Dulles (IAD) is closest to Rust Manor House. Reagan (DCA) is closest to where we live in Old Town Alexandria and DC-proper. You can also fly into Baltimore (BWI). Also, the Amtrak is a great option if you're coming from along the east coast! The metro system spans pretty far with the Silver Line ending at Dulles ... you can utilize this to bring you into Alexandria / DC if you don't want to rent a car. You can load money easily onto a Smartrip card through Apple Wallet or Google Pay and you can use your phone to tap at turnstiles to travel on the metro.
Travel Note
With our wedding ceremony taking place on a Friday, and the NCR being so large with lots of things to explore and do, we chose to not do a hotel block to leave options up to you! If you're flying into Dulles and want to be closest to Leesburg, you have the option to stay by the airport, stay in Leesburg, or even stay in Tysons Corner area (lots of shopping!). If you'd like to be near us in Alexandria, a few good options are the Hilton Alexandria near the King St Metro Stop, The Sheraton Suites near Hank's Oyster Bar & Sister's Thai or the Westin near Whole Foods. There are also plenty of AirBnBs & VRBOs in the Alexandria area or DC proper. Georgetown is a beautiful area but keep in mind you will need a car as there is no metro stop there. Travel Note
For those driving to the venue who plan to Uber at the end of the night, you are welcome to collect your vehicle in the morning. We ask that you park towards the barn to make room for the events scheduled for the following day.
