Laurissa (Sa) and Alysha (Sha) met playing ultimate frisbee together at UCSC and became adventure life partners soon after. Over the years they've rock climbed, mountaineered, rafted, kayaked, snowshoed, and partied hard together. Alysha is a loving new mom to her daughter, Ruby, and still continues to be a supportive and caring friend to Laurissa and Evan.
Casandra Bergkamp
Maid of Honor
Laurissa and Casandra met in college through their friends, but didn't become best friends till after they both graduated. They realized that they had so much in common- a love for the outdoors, travel, and food! Casandra currently lives in Seattle, but with a little help from her new nephew, Laurissa thinks she'll be living back in California soon!
Shannon Flynn

Laurissa has known this one from her birth. Shannon is Laurissa's younger cousin and has always been like a sister to her. Through family holidays, crazy hairdos, cousin backpacking trips, and graduations Shannon has been there for it all. She is also amazing at charcuterie boards.
Kaela Haydu

Laurissa's sister-in-law! Kaela and Laurissa met early in college at a Christmas party back when Brandon and Kaela were just each others' crushes. Kaela is not only an amazing mother to our flower girl, Audrey, but also a kick-ass lawyer and gender equality activist.
Audrey

The cutest niece an aunt and uncle could ask for!! She is practicing walking, hoping to get it down by the big date. Besides learning to walk, Audrey enjoys dancing, clapping, cool hands, making weird noises and funny faces, taking off and putting on hats, and having fun with her food.
Zac Johnson
Best Man
Zac is Evan's brother, so he's seen it all with Evan. Evan followed Zac out to Sacramento from Virginia, so Laurissa and Evan really have Zac to thank for this wedding! While Evan and his parents live in California because of Zac, Zac now lives in Washington state with his girlfriend, Ashlee, and her son, Oliver.
Jim Atkinson
Groomsman
Evan and Jim met in high school. While long distance sucks, you'd never know any time has passed when they're together. Jim lives in Florida, but don't judge him too hard. He founded and runs a company that provides job training and placement services for individuals with disabilities. He is also super fun to zoom with.
Brandon Haydu
Groomsman
Laurissa and her older brother, Brandon, have always been close, so it only makes sense that Evan and Brandon get along so well. Brandon always supported Laurissa when she was young and now he is working hard to make the world a better place for his daughter and our flower girl, Audrey.
Phil and Kari
Officiant
Phil and Kari are the most fun couple to ever exist. Long before Laurissa and Evan were even engaged they asked to officiate the wedding. Of course Laurissa and Evan were stoked to have one of their favorite couples play such an important role in their wedding and then it was just deciding who would do what. Phil will be leading the ceremony and Kari act as the Master of Ceremony for the reception.
