We're so excited to celebrate with you!

Just a quick snapshot of our timeline

It started like most modern-day love stories, with a swipe right. Thank you Bumble. It took several weeks of online conversations before Jon felt comfortable enough to ask to meet in person. We met at a park, had a picnic lunch, and spent hours walking around and talking about our lives, families, and futures.

Jon brought Laurie home to meet the family. This was a make-or-break moment for their relationship. Anyone that knows Jon knows how close he and his mom are. If she didn’t approve, the relationship could not progress. Luckily, Laurie passed with flying colors.

It was a Sunday Morning just like any other, except Laurie was running late for church and Jon was anxious and began to think he'd have to postpone the proposal. Immediately after church Jon disappeared and returned with a bouquet of roses and a ring and got down one one knee. How could she not say yes?

We cannot wait to celebrate our marriage in Sierra City with all of our favorite people by our side. This place means so much to us for many reasons, and we're excited to share this special place with everyone.
