We met when her daughter Mallory made my dance team that I was coaching. She was a supportive dance Mom and we quickly connected and became great friends. She is honest and down to earth, one of the good ones.

Where do I begin? I have known Kelsey since she was 4 years old. I was her dance teacher till the age of 18. During those years we grew a bond like no other. We are a mix of being friends, sisters, mentors, fellow coaches, dance teachers and confidants. The list goes on and on. We always say we are half of each others brain. She can tell you what dance step I'm thinking of even before I do it. The bond is rare and I feel very blessed.

SungJa and I met as fellow dance coaches. We would often joke around and got to know each other better with each competition season. We were fast friends. After Derek and I started dating when I would see her, the FIRST thing she would do was check my hand to see if there was a ring on it. I was always saying "slow your roll". Oh and the second thing she would say is "I'm a bridesmaid!"

My first born daughter. I could write a book! She was my miracle baby and little did I know I was giving birth to my best friend. I'm so happy she will be standing beside me on this special day. Alexa is a bright light in my life and amazes me everyday with her strength and love.

My beautiful bonus daughter! I loved her the day we met and I am so grateful to call her mine. I don't know how time has flown by so quickly. She has gone from a little 14 year old Freshman to a young woman graduating high school right before my very eyes.

Cindy and I met in the 5th grade at Satsop Elementary. I remember the day she and her brother David walked into the classroom. We became fast friends and have been besties ever since. So many life adventures we have been through! Although we live states away and life gets busy we are a phone call or FaceTime visit away. Over the years one or the other travels to visit. Through all of the ups and downs she is a steady presence in my world.

My Daughter In Law and Mother to my three grandsons, Joshua, Douglas & Owen. I've watched her grow from a teen girl to a grown woman and Mother. So grateful for her love and unwavering support of me. She will be standing with me on this special day as my family, as my daughter.

Mindi is my Ride or Die. We met when she was pregnant with her son Allyn. She is the friend that I can go months without talking to and when we do connect it's like time hasn't passed at all. In the end she would pull a bitch through a bank teller window in your defense. Yes, there is a story behind that one.

We are connected through family ties and years of dance classes with her daughter Haley. But we became the best of friends all on our own, separate from those ties. That makes our friendship even more special. She has been my mentor and inspiration for all things home decor. She is the QUEEN of design. Bonnie has helped in imagining and creating the tablescapes for the reception. I couldn't be happier.

My sweet cousin. We became family by chance, but we are so much more. She has been by my side through the highs and lows of life. I can't imagine my world without her in it. I was blessed to be in the delivery room when she gave birth to her first baby. So many memories growing up together!

Believe it or not Melanie was a member of the very first Dance Drill Team I coached in 1988-89! We were only a few years apart in age as I began coaching pretty young. We reconnected as adults and our sons are the same age and best friends! I could go on and on about our close friendship and the fact that we are now business partners, but in this love story she is the friend who crashed our first date. The friend in the "How we met" story. She basically interrogated Derek and asked all the great questions. Haha! She has been there from day one.

Addison Grace, the baby I never knew I needed. Our TikTok making, Instagram loving youngest daughter. There is never a dull moment with this one. She is beautiful on the inside and out.

Paula is my longest most dear friend. We have known each other since the first grade and have been mistaken for sisters everyday since then. We have gone through so many stages of life together. We have watched each other's children come into the world, cried through the hardest of life's lessons and laughed so hard we lost our breath. She is my Sister, not by birth but by choice.
