Where Forever Begins

We met on Bumble in January 2024—though I almost didn’t match with him. One of his photos showed a plate of food with a cookie sitting right on the same plate, and I remember thinking that was a very questionable choice. Thankfully curiosity won, and I swiped right anyway. On our first date, I completely nerded out and started telling him a bunch of random animal facts. By the end of the night I was convinced I had probably ruined the date, but it turns out that moment was one of the things he loved most. Somehow my animal trivia didn’t scare him away—and the rest is history.
