“ One chance is all you need” . I was leaving as Kido was entering an event that we were both guests at. He asked me out but I gave him a million excuses, and he never gave up. I didn’t think much of it and I finally agreed on dating after what seems like months of him asking. On our first date we just clicked and he expressed his love for his family, career and most importantly God. That’s when I thought, “Okay, this could be the start of something”beautiful and special and we’ve been inseparable since that day. I thank God everyday for bringing us together and for always being the center of our love.
I had been planning to propose to Lauretta for quite some time.. It was important to make it a day she will always remember. The surprise proposal took place on the eventful evening of October 10, 2019. It was perfect , the wind was calm, red rose petals covered the floor with outdoor seating around fire pits. The sweeping views gave way to the broad expanse of the city. I made sure her family and closest friends were there to witness such a special and heart warming expression of love. Lauretta was under the guise that we were attending my company’s dinner party and some quiet time together. But alas, as we walked in, she saw a lot of familiar faces and I pulled out a square jewelry box and asked, “will you marry me?” She was in shock for a moment and with a few soft words, hugs and kisses, she responded “Yes I will marry you”, We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in August!
