Free entry and impressive exhibits of TN history. Sits next to Bicentennial Park, where Steven proposed to Lauren.
We live two blocks from this bar in Germantown and it is ALWAYS packed - STRONG, silly drinks and young-ish people having fun! A local favorite but originally from NYC.
We bring visitors here a lot because there are things to look at and things to drink! Corsair Distillery, Nelson's Green Brier Distillery, antiques, small shops.
See a show in this historic venue just off Broadway.
See a show at this historic venue. This is about 15 minutes outside the city and requires a car ride.
If you're looking to take in some TN history, this is President Andrew Jackson's (beautiful) historic home. It's about 30 minutes outside the city and requires a car ride.
Winery and historic plantation site. This is about 20 minutes outside the city and requires a car ride but is worth it for a beautiful scene, interesting history, and glass of wine.
Farmer's market, food hall, and Bicentennial Park right next door! This sits between downtown and Germantown so if you're looking for a walk, make your way from downtown, wander through the park, visit the market, and then cross Jefferson Street into Germantown to explore some boutiques and fun bars/restaurants.
Donuts! There's one in East Nashville too.
Here you have the Nashville honky tonks and all the live music you could ask for. This is the busiest and most tourist-filled part of Nashville but you have to do it, at least once. Each honky tonk has something different - find your favorite!
Still a lot of live music and tourists, but slightly more low key and local. Try Fleet Street Pub for an English pub and Bourbon Street Blues for a New Orleans flair. Another favorite nearby is Bowie's.
Karaoke bar. 'Nuff said.
Dolly Parton-themed rooftop bar! Maybe the girliest bar we've ever seen.
Full-scale replica of the Athenian Parthenon. A bit strange, yes, but worth a stroll through the park on a nice day.
Everyone's favorite suburb city - very quaint, lots of boutiques and places to eat/drink - and very busy too! This is about 30 minutes outside of Nashville.
VOLLEYBALL BAR. What could be better?
See a game! This is the Nashville Sounds' baseball stadium. The real formula: buy cheap tickets and go to the stadium for the first half, then go to the bar next-door (Third and Home) and watch the rest from their balcony.
A scenic (and safe) way to cross the river between Downtown and East Nashville. Photo op!
Another winery that everyone recommends. If you're going, you might as well stop through Franklin too.
This is a new food hall on Broadway and something the area desperately needed. We always eat here when we're on Broadway because it's not just bar food and it means we don't have to decide on one type of food for the entire group!
Nashville's best comedy club, see a comedy show here. This is a intimate comedy club that receives drop-ins from high-profile comedians like Chris Rock, Louis C.K., and others. The club sells out, so buy tickets in advance!
This is a hidden speakeasy with excellent cocktails in a dark intimate lounge. The place always has a wait, so put yourself on the wait list and walk to Five Points (only a few blocks away). There are bars and restaurants in almost every direction. This place is located in the alleyway behind Lakeside Lounge.
This is an excellent activities bar in the Gulch. The bar has ping pong, duckpins, big Jenga, and trashcan beer pong.
Tiki/robot bar. I don't know why you'd have questions.
