Is there a dress code?

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

You are welcome to arrive at 5:00 pm for the 5:30 pm ceremony!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors (weather permitting), and the reception will be indoors. If inclement weather prevents us from holding the ceremony and cocktail hour outside, they will be moved indoors.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The limited parking lots on the Senate Garage grounds and directly across North Front Street are available exclusively for our guests beginning at 5:00 pm. We will be providing transportation to the venue from the hotel, so feel free to leave your cars behind! Parking is not available overnight, so if you plan to drive to the venue and take the shuttle back to the hotel, please make arrangements to have your car moved. The Best Western Plus is approximately a 10-minute walk or 3-minute drive away from the venue.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be a shuttle available to all guests to and from the venue and the Best Western Plus, which is the hotel with our wedding courtesy rate and the location of the after party. It's approximately a 3-minute drive or 10-minute walk from the venue to this hotel. If you're not staying at the Best Western Plus, you will need to make your own transportation arrangements after the reception ends.

What alcohol will be provided?

There will be an open beer and wine bar during cocktail hour and reception!

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We have a courtesy rate available at the Best Western Plus in Kingston (this is where the after party will be)! Go here to book your room: https://www.bestwestern.com/en_US/book/hotel-rooms.33159.html?groupId=M80RI9Y6 The Best Western Plus is about a 10-minute walk from the wedding venue, but we will also be providing transportation from and to the hotel. If you intend to stay at this hotel, we highly encourage you to book as soon as possible, as rooms book up incredibly quickly. We also recommend Hotel Kinsley (up the street from the venue), Courtyard Marriot in Kingston (15-minute drive), and AirBnB (plenty available in Kingston).

Hell yes. Meet us at the Best Western Plus in Kingston! Transportation will be provided.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes they are!

Do I have to pick my meal beforehand?

Answer

Nope! There will be a buffet during the reception. This way, everyone has the opportunity to try all the delicious food that our amazing caterer will be serving up.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

Yes, yes, yes, and yes! Please let us know of any dietary requirements when you RSVP (there will be a spot for it).

Can I take and post photos and videos of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, please do! Use #LaurenPickedAWeiner when posting to social media so we can look back through the posts! We'll also have a photobooth available during the reception. Please note: we ask that you do not use your cell phone for any reason during the ceremony. While we love that you want to document this moment for us, we're paying two wonderful photographers and a videographer to do that for us professionally. So, just sit back and enjoy!
