I knew true love existed since I was 12, because I got to be the first third wheel to Olivia and Troy. My sister was my first best friend so I was a little weary, but Troy always bought my food and very quickly won me over. Ever since then, the 3 of us have made the most favorite memories I have. I couldn’t be happier to have Troy officially be my brother. On my 18th birthday, Troy was driving to me to the surprise party Olivia had organized for me, and he told me that she was his soul mate and he couldn’t ever imagine a life without her. My sister has always been a true romantic at heart and to see Troy match that for her brings so much light into our lives. I know my Dad would be so proud of both Olivia and Troy. I can’t wait to be a Bridesmaid and celebrate their love!

Being one of my first friends at Drexel, Troy instantly made an unfamiliar city slowly feel like home. One thing about Troy and I is that both of us are always down for an adventure. From exploring Philly’s SEPTA underground, to driving up and down the California Coast to camp in Joshua Tree, to crossing the border into Tijuana for some amazing tacos - an adventure with Troy is always memorable. Memories that I cherish greatly. I am incredibly excited and honored to witness Troy’s next big adventure, marriage! Huge congratulations to him and Olivia. Being a groomsman is an honor, but being one for a friend I’ve known since high school makes it especially meaningful. We’ve shared a lot over the years from hanging out in Pacific Beach, bonding over late nights, and even getting matching tattoos. I was there during his EMT school days too, helping, teaching and watching Troy succeed will be something I’ll always remember. What stands out most about Troy is his selflessness. He’s the kind of man who’s always there for his friends and to offer his support. It’s an honor to be part of this next chapter in his life and to support him as he starts this journey with the person he loves.

Olivia and I met in a sorority we both ended up leaving - and honestly she was the only good thing that came from it. It seems like just a couple of years ago Liv was a toddler who would come to our house and we would watch Beauty and the Beast together. She would dance with the music. She was so graceful, it put a smile on our faces. Driving her off at school was a pleasure, she would talk about all her friends and teachers, who were her favorites and those who were not her favorites. Before we knew it we were traveling to San Diego Balboa Park Theater to see our lovely granddaughter on stage! She was great! She moved to Idaho and did well in school and graduated from collage. She is now a lovely young lady and a beautiful person. We are so proud of her.
