Matron of Honor
Jennifer met me on July 11, 1991. After some initial skepticism, she's come around and we've shared a lot of love and laughs. I loved being Jennifer's Maid of Honor at her wedding and am so happy that she is doing the same for me!
Best Man
On September 28th, 1988, Evan was lucky enough to be blessed with the greatest gift that a big brother could ever receive: me. Evan has always been there when I have needed advice and inspiration. I was able to stand with Evan at his wedding in 2016 and I'm very proud to have him standing next to me for mine.
Maid of Honor
Katherine and I met at volleyball camp right before high school started and we became fast friends. We've gone from joking around in class and study hall to joking around at weddings and house warming parties!
Groomsman
Americo and I met during high school, where we always seemed to sit in adjacent desks in our classes. A friendship was formed during long chamber choir practices and was solidified when we ended up being roommates for 4 years at Western Kentucky.
Bridesmaid
I met Kelly in high school and have many fond memories of hanging out with our friends in her parents' decked-out basement. We recently discovered that we have the same personality type (hey, Campaigners!), which explains why we've become thick as thieves over the years!
Bridesmaid
Nisha and I spent our Junior year at The Ohio State University as roommates. It was close quarters in that tiny room (with a tiny closet!), and we have remained close ever since. Nowadays, she's roommates with her husband, Matt, in California and goes by Dr. Cope, Chiropractor. I got be Maid of Honor for Nisha at her wedding!
Bridesmaid
Gina was one of the few kids that I voluntarily babysat while living in Columbus in college - it certainly helped that she is my cousin! Now that she's all grown up, she is a great addition to the bridal party as a Junior Bridesmaid!
Bridesmaid
Addie is the resident mom of the group, not only because she has three beautiful daughters, but because she has always been there to host the party or lend helpful advice. We first forged a bond on the volleyball team but our friendship has stretched far beyond our high school gym!
Bridesmaid
Marisa and I also met in high school. Some of our favorite memories include goofing off in her dad's chemistry class and driving around in her VW Bug. She's gone from my high school bud to my Aussie mate now that she is permanently living in Australia!
Groomsman
I've known David almost my entire life. We've gone to all the same schools, swam for all the same teams, joined the same fraternity, and even work at the same company. David has always been a great adventure buddy, down for a drink and a Reds game... though we seem to never make it out of the bar for the day games.
Bridesmaid
Blaire is the kind of friend that would enter enemy territory for you - which she did by visiting me at Ohio State wearing her Michigan gear (and hosting me at Michigan in my OSU gear)! Luckily, I now get to go to her beautiful farm in Pennsylvania when it's time to get together for some Cincinnati Nahcos.
Groomsman
I met Ryan through Lauren, as they've been friends since childhood (as Lauren likes to say, "since I was taller than him."). I feel fortunate that I can now call Ryan my friend as well. Fun fact: Ryan joined us for dinner the evening before our engagement - our last meal together as boyfriend and girlfriend!
Bridesmaid
Sophie and I got to know each other while doing volunteer work at school and clicked as a winning beer pong team at parties. These days, we still like parties, but you will find us huddled together in a corner, passionately discussing reality TV.
Bridesmaid
Nina and I first bonded during high school volleyball camp over a mutual realization that we hate jogging. We spent tons of time together carpooling everywhere in Nina's blue Vibe, grooving to Pink Floyd and Fleetwood Mac. We still hate jogging and still love spending time together.
Bridesmaid
Kimmy and I met through our college sorority, Chi Omega. She was always up to keep me company, whether we were "taking a lap" around our favorite bar, hanging out in the library, or eating all of our meals together. We don't have as many dinner dates now that she lives in California, but she's still my go-to for a FaceTime rap sesh!
Bridesmaid
Don't be fooled by the blonde hair! Abby is a Mongelluzzo cousin who has graciously joined the wedding party to carry on the generations old tradition of including cousins in the bridal party. She also earned her spot with her consistent and dependable compliments on my Brussels sprouts each Thanksgiving.
Groomsman
I met Sean in high school and we became close friends in the years after college. He inspired me to take up cycling, much to the displeasure of my wallet. An avid fan of manual labor, you can find him milling lumber on the weekend or enjoying the great outdoors.
Groomsman
Wade and I met freshman year of college through our fraternity and later became roommates in a big, gross house that was dubbed The Greenhouse. We used to cruise up and down Greek Row, blasting "Panama" by Van Halen as loud as possible and amusing only ourselves. He's a fan of all things Georgia.
Groomsman
Josh claims that we met in preschool, but I have my doubts. He is another friend that I went to school with, swam with, and now work with (see a pattern here?). We first bonded over late nights playing World of Warcraft. Josh is an avid beer league hockey player and a huge fan of the Washington Capitals.
Groomsman
Michael is Lauren's cousin and even went to college with her bridesmaid, Nina. I met Michael at Nina's wedding and he's joining the groomsmen group to continue the tradition of Mongelluzzo cousins being a part of the wedding party.
Groomsman
I left my impression on Justin in our high school German class with my outstanding sense humor. Justin is our resident historian and preservationist who is genuinely excited when I send him photos of buildings. We always enjoyed kicking a soccer ball around, that is, until his dad showed up and made us look bad.
Groomsman
Chris was another member of The Greenhouse and we both decided that we needed one extra semester at WKU. He is arguably the most athletic person I've ever met, but I've always maintained that I once outran Chris during a flag football game. Unfortunately, there were no witnesses.
Groomsman
Adam and I shared the main floor of the Greenhouse, and a special bond. If it wasn't Adam's ESPN ringtone waking me up, I was annoying him by kicking things around the house. Adam is from the famed Hatfield and McCoy country of Eastern Kentucky and once got us all actual coal from a coal mine for Christmas.
