Shadow Captain Marie Austin-Davis has been our little fur child since we met. Right after moving back to Richmond, Lauren was searching high and low for a German Shepard. Finally, she got an alert about a litter of puppies that Homeward Trails was about to transport to Virginia from Mississippi. 

Captain has been their giant fur baby ever since. Don't let his size intimidate you, he's really just a love bug who wants snuggles and is scared of the wind.

Boomer is THE dog of all dogs. He had been with Joe for a little while before he met Lauren. For a while, it was just Joe + Boomer, Boomer + Joe. A man and his dog. Just two good boys enjoying life together. Boomer didn't know that he would soon have another person in his life. 

From the first lick on Lauren's cheek, Boomer knew this would be his other human. Boomer is their ride or die. Ready for snuggles, or a 10 mile hike. He's always there when needed!
