Question

Where are the wedding day festivities being held?

Answer

Both our ceremony and reception will be held at Boxed & Burlap in Delavan, WI. 2935 STATE HIGHWAY 67 DELAVAN, WI 53115

Question

Can I bring my children to the wedding?

Answer

We love all of the children in our life, but due to space, we simply couldn't invite all of them. Therefore, our wedding will be an adults only event.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We recommend dressing in semi-formal or cocktail attire. We're expecting it to be a warm, end-of-summer, afternoon, so dress accordingly. The ceremony will be held outside, but the reception will take place in an air-conditioned building. For men: suits (jacket and tie optional) or khakis and a nice button-up. For women: dresses (any length is okay), jumpsuits, or dressy separates. Feel free to wear any colors or textures! Our bridesmaids will be in floor length dresses with different styles/fabrics of champagne and beige. It's okay if you have something similar - we won't judge!

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

The venue has a private parking lot that can fit up to 75 cars. Once the lot reaches capacity, the parking team will direct you to the overflow lot across the street and will shuttle guests across the road.

Question

Can I leave my car overnight?

Answer

You can leave your car overnight in the venue’s lot, but it must be picked up the next morning by 10am.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We will begin seating guests at 3:30pm, and are asking all guests to arrive by 3:45pm so that you have time to park and be seated. We will begin the ceremony promptly at 4pm. If you arrive early, you are welcome to visit the venue’s coffee shop which will be open to the public from 6am-3pm, and remain open to wedding guests for the remainder of the evening. Free small size drinks for all our guests!

Question

I have dietary restrictions - will there be an alternative meal for me?

Answer

We have tried our best to provide a variety of foods for the different dietary needs of our guests. Because we will be serving food buffet style, guests may opt in or out of any foods. Please ask the buffet servers if you have specific questions about dietary restrictions for anything that is served.

Question

Are you providing transportation/shuttles?

Answer

We will not be providing shuttles to and from the venue. We encourage guests to make their own transportation arrangements. You are welcome to carpool, but there is plenty of parking at the venue! Please remember to be safe and responsible on the roads this holiday weekend!

Question

What’s the deal with the coffee shop?

Answer

We love our venue, because it is home to an absolutely adorable coffee shop! The coffee shop will be open for guests to hang out and enjoy free small sized beverages throughout the night.

Question

Should we bring gifts to the wedding or ship them to you?

Answer

Thank you so much for your generosity! You are welcome to do either. We will have a card / gift table at the wedding. We also LOVE the registry feature on Zola, because it allows the gifts to ship directly to our home during our preferred timeframe. We are notified anytime someone sends a gift, so don’t worry… we’ll know who sent it!

Question

What’s the plan for the wedding? Is it inside or outside?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held outside and begin at 4pm, immediately followed by a cocktail hour. During that time you can enjoy drinks and appetizers, as well as submit an entry into our video guestbook, grab coffee, take some photos, or play yard games. We’ll have dinner inside the barn at 6pm—a BBQ buffet, followed by cake and cobbler for dessert. During the meal, some family members have been asked to share speeches and toasts. At 7pm, Lauren and Eli will share the first dance, and then open up the dance floor to all guests. Not into dancing? No worries, you can make a s’more at the bonfire, hang out in the cafe, or play some games on the lawn! Last call for drinks is 10:30pm, and the evening’s festivities will wrap up by 11pm.
