Lauren and Drew’s love story began on March 29, 2021, in New Orleans, Louisiana. At the time, Lauren had just started graduate school at Tulane’s School of Social Work, while Drew was working as a Video Producer for the LSU Football team in Baton Rouge. Like many modern couples, they met on a dating app. But it was a little nudge from their mutual friends (shoutout to Jonah and Molly!) that really got the ball rolling. After a week of nonstop texting and a deep dive into each other's social media profiles, they set a date to meet in person. And the rest is history! Less than a year later, their love had only grown stronger. After countless trips between New Orleans and Baton Rouge, they decided it was time to settle in the same city—so they chose Denver, a place they both loved and haven’t looked back since! On August 30, 2024, Drew proposed to Lauren in Vail, Colorado, next to Gore Creek. Lauren thought they were on a family trip to celebrate Drew’s birthday. When she arrived at the hotel, Drew asked her to meet him and his family by the creek so they could walk to dinner. As Lauren made her way down to the creek, she quickly realized there was no family in sight. Instead, Drew got down on one knee and asked her to marry him, completely catching her by surprise! A few days later, their families gathered in Denver to spend time together celebrating their engagement. Now, they're beyond thrilled to gather their favorite people from all over to celebrate this incredible journey!
