Lauren and Devin met around 2010 in Friendship Group (a social group for young adults) in Sussex County, NJ. They were friends and were both interested in each other, but the timing never quite worked—one was dating someone when the other was single, and vice versa. At the Friendship Group talent show in 2018, Devin performed "Then" by Brad Paisley. (Devin remembers the cute yellow dress Lauren wore that night to sing "Build Me Up Buttercup.") He sang that love song to Lauren, and his performance got the whole group talking! And sure enough, they started dating right after that. In February of 2020, Lauren and Devin moved to Pittsburgh, and got engaged in 2022. And now, after knowing each other for more than 15 years, they're finally tying the knot this year!
